Changes to Google Local Search
In February, Google updated 30 facets of their search results algorithm, including variables related to links and local search. While Google didn’t give any information on how link evaluation has changed, they did include some insight on local search. In short, Google is returning results with localized keywords for general searches as long as the searcher has localization turned on.
